Leadership

WILL BURFORD, PRESIDENT

Will serves as the President of Burford’s Construction, a position he has held since he founded the company. As such, Will’s responsibilities include creating the company’s strategic vision and culture. This vision has allowed for the company to experience significant growth alongside an increase in the breadth of services to better serve the industry.

Before founding Burford’s Construction, Will started in the utility industry over 16 years ago in a family business founded by his father. As the company’s Vice President, he successfully created new service offerings for many new industry partners. Those offerings are all still services today within the Burford’s Construction portfolio, with many of the same partners.

COATES COVINGTON, VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

Coates serves as the Executive Vice President of Operations, in which he oversees all of the company’s activities. These responsibilities include the management of all service lines across all territories to ensure safe, productive and quality execution.

Prior to joining Burford’s Construction at the company’s inception, Coates served the utility industry in many facets, including operations, safety, fleet services and pre-construction. Over the past 11 years, Coates has used his experience to support the growth strategies the company holds as a core value.

Coates has a Bachelor of Science degree in building construction from Auburn University.
